The guard rail is used in many different applications in order to keep the wheel in correct alignment when approaching a switch. It can be rolled with one of these steel grades :
- S700 (min. tensile strength 680N/mm2)
- S900A (min. tensile strength 880N/mm2)
- S1100 (min. tensile strength 1080N/mm2)
